This particular car is a 1936 Buick Century Coupe. 1,078 of these cars were initially built.
This was the year that put Buick on the map. This was the first production car to go 100 MPH and hold steady at that rate. Very few cars could do that in this time. Stock it came with a 3, 7/16 bore and 4, 5/16 stroke.
The Century coupe had the smallest, lightest body, that came from the special series, and put on the largest engined frame, therefore creating the first real muscle car.
This car has a lot of components on it that is built and sold by us at Blake Machine.
A set of our 1.5 ratio billet rocker arms are on this car. Custom machined pistons to give a desired compression ratio of 11.0-1.
